The Lebanese group says it carried out “a number of operations” against Israeli military positions near the border.
The attacks included targeting an airbase in response to an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon’s Kfar Jouz, Hezbollah said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
It also targeted the al-Marj military site in northern Israel with a barrage of rockets and claimed to have bombed the Zabadin barracks in Shebaa Farms.
Other attacks were on Israeli army positions in Zaura and Ramtha in the Kfarchouba Hills. The operations were carried out “in solidarity” with the Palestinians in Gaza, it said.
Hezbollah said fighter Abbas Khader Hamada was killed on the “road to Jerusalem” – a reference to the fight in support of the Palestinian resistance – without providing details.
